  1. Oh my gosh-absolutely excellent video! I have absolutely no need or reason to go to Portland, Oregon, a place very far away, except that I would love to stay at this hotel! And by stay at this hotel, I mean I would love to spend one or two nights in each one of the Tiny Houses. Well, each one except for the one with the acrylic steps and acrylic platform with a futon sofa above the bed. That completely freaked me out-nope!

    • Mary Anne Brown Portland and surrounding areas are also absolutely gorgeous! So if you do visit, definitly check it out!

    • Chloe Weikel Oh, I have been to Portland before, and I absolutely loved it! I was giving a presentation at a conference, so I made sure to get out there a few days early. My husband and I rented a car and saw all the waterfalls-it was absolutely stunning. We also went to Mount Hood and had lunch at the lodge. Best. Coffee. In. The. U.S.! Sadly, it is just so very far away-I am on the other side of the country. I hope to go back one day, maybe in a few years when my children are older.

    • Oregon has many beautiful places to offer, it’s been my favourite place to live, and I’ve lived in a lot of places over my years!

  2. Oh, my, the Victorian exterior and loft space! Drooling. Is there a video that’s all about [just] this Victorian? That feels so me, and yet I’m also so drawn to Palm Springs style Mid Century Modern architecture. Have yet to see a THOW represent MCM as well as the “Cottage” represents Victorian style, but perhaps the tallness of THOWs clashes with the low, sleek profile of MCM architecture?

    • Lilac Milkshake I could point you in a direction you might not like me for doing, unless you plan to live in a tiny house in the future, then your might want to hug me…

  3. What a great couple – looks like this is really fun for them. And wonderful tips!

As I was watching, I noticed all those steps and ladders and had to wonder… how does Tiny Digs deal with ADA compliance, being that they’re classified as a hotel? Wouldn’t the law require at least one of their units to be wheelchair accessible, with grab handles in a wider bathroom, etc.?

  4. Great tips, all of them. Love, love, love the victorian cottage, adorable. My second choice would be the caboose, also adorable. Great job on all the decor & themes…

  5. Great tips Jenna, thanks for sharing! 🙂
I really want to see more of the Modern Tiny House they’ve got there! 🙂

  6. My dear Father built a wall mounted fold up table in the home I grew up in. He and my Mother made a wonderful mosaic on the room side. I’ll never need a kitchen table in my tiny home!
