There is a whole lot of technology and systems that go into making this very clever off grid tiny house work, and sometimes that means making adjustments the way in which we live in a and reframing our relationship with energy. There are lots of lessons here for those of you who might considering going off the grid. I hope you enjoy this very special revisited tiny house tour!

  1. Can tiny living off grid work in colder climates? I live in the north of Scotland and we certainly don’t get enough sun!!

  2. This one was always my favorite because they used biogas instead of propane! Just think if they were able to start a little produce food garden/forest, maybe a few chickens (if they were into meat), it would be perfect in my eyes! Not only off grid but totally self sustaining & non fossil fuel dependent! I don’t know why I get so excited thinking about this stuff, lol!

  3. I cant believe I haven’t found these series before, it’s amazing to get idea’s and it is so real compared to American versions, I love the vibes I’m getting from all you Aussies and Kiwi’s, much love from The Netherlands.

  4. Who are they trying to kid? “Carbon free”? So the TWO “bio-gas” systems (second one to replace a broken first) didn’t take any carbon to manufacture? Do they think the massive amount of batteries they have to have (and REPLACE) don’t consume more carbon to manufacture than most people living on the grid consume in years?! People really should stay in school a little longer. Like a rich, hipster trailer home.

  5. Hi Bryce, so lovely to meet you at the Tiny House Festival yesterday, you were right! This is an amazing video! Hope you and Rasa enjoy the festival today.

  6. Another beautiful couple—it really warms my heart to see their happiness and unity as a couple enjoying their life together in their cozy home

  7. I could use help with a caboose i’m building, Need to know more about solar, i will also have gas and batteries i want to be self contained. can we talk sometime. your doing great thanks
