Naval architect Kurt Hughes has built strange things his entire life. For the past 7 years, he has been working on a inspired by the lunar lander, and he built it all on his own using methods.

  1. This is one of the most innovative homes I’ve ever seen! It was obviously built with incredible ingenuity, an amazing artistic drive, and (of course) a love for the lunar lander. Thumbs up if you agree!

    • The moment I heard Kurt say that the countertop is made out of carbon fiber, I was like, “Okay! This house cost him an arm and a leg to build.”

      Sure his home is wonderful, but just hearing about the materials used… almost as if NASA made this home (budget wise).

    • +John Doe – Ikr! His neighbour had a plasma cutter, my neighbours might not even have a bowl of sugar to use let alone a plasma cutter! 😛
