In this weeks we explore a wonderful colonial cottage style tiny house which has amazingly been built for only NZ$8000 (US $5000). This creative tiny house has been constructed almost entirely out of reclaimed and recycled materials and the end result is a tiny home with some big style!

Keith and Jen are a wonderfully creative couple. Previously, we explored their which has also been affordably constructed from reclaimed materials.
throughout, this tiny house has been styled to resemble a turn-of-the-century colonial cottage and is packed full of wonderful historical treasures. This is a great example of what can be done to create a truly affordable tiny house using salvaged materials and a lot of hard work!

  1. I absolutely love all the creativity that has gone into Keith and Jen’s wonderful cottage-style tiny house build. It really goes to show what’s possible with a limited budget, but unlimited creativity and hard work. I hope you all enjoy this weeks video! Love Bryce & Rasa

  2. Absolutely love this channel. Not on the paper but already made a design in my mind of a beautiful tiny house and also imagined Bryce visiting it lol.

  3. The wonderful man who built the $8,000 cabin, and his wife of course is the most thought and dream provoking build that I have seen to date. I’m 72 now and I marvel at talent that goes non-stop since becoming engrossed in tiny homes thru the years. The gentleman’s yellow submarine is also a marvel. Thank you for sharing with all of us the many wonders that I know will keep on growing thru the years. Teresa Newby, Indianapolis, In

  4. We as Africans have exited this chat because of the small house’s name. Anything COLONIAL is bad for our health. This house is not nice

  5. I love watching living big in tiny house because the people seem to be really happy and you, Bruce are happy with them!
Marvellous and stylish house, no more needed inside at all. Cosiness and posivitive vibes inside! Hope to see more tine houses in Europe!

  6. This is the epitome of why the “modern world” is against the movement. They can’t make money when you recycle, reuse, restore ect things. If we could build houses for that little money less people would be sleeping in the street.
