Enchanting Tiny House & Gardens On Generational Family Farm

This spectacular situated on a generational family is absolutely breathtaking. Ruby grew up on this farm. The family has a deep connection to this land, and it's where Ruby wanted to deepen her roots by building her own .

Not wanting to get into a huge amount of debt, she wanted to keep her home small and simple and a tiny house was the ideal solution. She has added onto the tiny house structure by creating seperate structures for both a shower / laundry room, as well as a toilet.

Ruby is a gardener by profession and the area all around her home has been exquisitely planted to create majestic, productive gardens.. Plants even climb the exterior walls of the tiny house which helps to make the home feel even more enchanting.

This is an tiny house which has been situated in an incredibly special place. We hope you enjoy the full video tour!

  1. Ruby’s tiny house is absolutely stunning. Her family connection to this farm is so rare and I love the way in which building a tiny home has enabled her to create her own very special place on the land. I hope you enjoy the video tour! With love, Bryce & Rasa

  2. I’m sorry but I felt awkward hearing her call it her ancestral land when her great grandparents turned up to take the land they wanted a little over a 100years ago. I wonder what Maori tribes were indigenous to that area before it was taken from them. She seems like a lovely girl, but let’s be real.

  3. Remember kids, the first step to being self-sufficient and mortgage free is to have grandparents that own a large piece of land.

  4. When you have the support of your family, life becomes a whole new blessing. This is absolutely a piece of paradise. Thank you.

  5. Ruby is so inspiring, strong and beautiful soul. The nature was out of this world. But my favourite thing about this whole video was that god damned vintage red jeep.

  6. Lovely home. Well done that lady. I’ve been to Bethells, it’s very nice. I’d really like to go back to NZ. Had an amazing holiday there. We hired an 8 meter motorhome and explored both the north and south islands. Amazing trip. Need to do that again at some point.

  7. If Ruby’s property has access to a perennial stream, she could plan for a micro hydro power system. I guess it is quite better than propane energy source. Anyway, one of the best tiny houses showed here and that is my dream location!
