Father and Daughter Tiny House has a DOWNSTAIRS bedroom

Derek “Deek” Diedricksen, while speaking at the NJ , checks in to Chris Schapdick’s tiny house to take a quick tour. This tiny house on wheels started as a Tumbleweed Tiny House Company “barn raiser” (pre-built shell) and was completed and customized by Chris. Check out its inventive copper-pipe drawer pulls, its repurposed skateboard light, a vintage sliding barn door for the bathroom, and more. Best of all, this house not only has a downstairs bedroom for his daughter, but the loft is large enough to fit a king size bed/mattress.

  1. Do you guys ever do scholarships or fund raising or give aways of the tiny homes built during your camps? I am a young divorced mother of a 4 year old who has stage IV cancer- tiny house living has been a dream of mine since I was a child (no joke). I’m working towards making connections with anyone who is skilled and strong enough to help me and my daughter. I hope to pass it on once I am well again.

  2. using one of the more heat conductive materials to save the surface from the heat is kinda funny. They use cork for a reason, buddy xD
