Recently I had the chance to meet Chip, a plumber that lives in Oak Island, North Carolina. He recently decided to team up with his son to start building tiny houses. His son wants to start a tiny house building business so they went ahead and built their first one. And I thought it was lovely.

It’s 28′ long and has alot going for it.

They decided to employ a tactic known as “Shou Sugi Ban” for the ceiling material by burning it slightly. Then they used different colors of stain and used the wood. It’s the first thing you notice when you enter the tiny house.

  1. Stunning Tiny House. ❤️ they thought of everything and lots of storage. The bathroom is “Awesome” 💕 The different colored wood plank ceiling is a nice surprise. I’m sure this will sell fast ✅🙋🏼‍♀️

  2. IMPRESSIVE. That tuck away porch, CREATIVE. The roof…WOAH. Just viewing this I’m impressed by the design and build quality, these guys know what they’re doing. Only thing I can critique is the ladder next to the refrigerator. Should have extended the top floor out in an “L” shape to meet up with the ladder. But that is a FULL SIZE refrigerator? What’s the price for a unit like this?

  3. How much would this cost ? Most of what I see in small housings cost More than a Motor home so not much of a choice

  4. Very nice but why did they have to park in front of 3 disable parking bays? No one’s got the space get in and use them.

  5. Its an ok start but presents as a travel trailer/ part time use space not a tiny home. Beautiful colors and materials outside. Lacks a lot of daily living requirements inside. Awfully heavy to move around conveniently or affordably. I’d rather spend less on travel trailer.

  6. This is so beautiful .. unfortunately I am a bit clostrophobic 😖 and don’t care for the lofts …however I love everything …the ceiling is like an art piece … Love the awning and the porch(?)…never saw that before very thoughtful …
