Mini Bus Converted into STUNNING Off-Grid Tiny House – Full Tour

Take a full tour of this stunning, spacious, and comfortable DIY off-grid bus conversion in Australia. It has an L-shaped couch, a galley kitchen, a platform bed, a shower and toilet, and loads of storage. The is a 2003 Bus conversion and is complete with a robust solar system, all-electric appliances (no propane or gas), loads of freshwater storage, and windows on all sides for a 360-degree view. The bus size is more compact than a school bus which is great for driving and parking, but it’s bigger than a camper van so you get that extra comfort.

Elana and her partner (and her dad!) converted this bus and did such a job making it the perfect adventure for doing van life in Australia. Huge thank you to them for filming their own footage!!

Thanks for watching!

  1. Im not normally pro bus builds over buying classic rvs made before 2,000 but this is a very well though out clean build. Im a carpenter and know how much work it takes to build this bus.

  2. What a gorgeous bus! I loved the light. Were some of the windows a blue colour or was that just reflection from the sea? Either way it looked amazing.

  3. Elana, you’ve done really beautiful work on the conversion: what a beautiful fresh feel to the space, and so many smart decisions about how you use your solar power. Thank you, too, for being honest about the things you would have done differently. Mat and Danielle, many thanks for bringing us another inspiring video.

  4. I love the planked ceiling most of all. The bookshelf at the far end of the bus looks great with the curvature of the ceiling.
