This modern on wheels is sure to impress.

At 6'3, owner Kari is quite tall and certainly not someone you would expect to be in a tiny house, but thanks to some great with the help of her father, a retired architect, this has been cleverly crafted to perfectly fit her needs.

The decision to move into a tiny was largely to do with a desire to live artfully, giving Kari the time and space to create her art, her books and live a life of her choosing. Her beautiful modern tiny house has found an ideal spot only minutes from downtown Portland, allowing her to live the city life while still having her own space.

  1. Hey all! I hope you enjoy this weeks video tour of this beautiful modern tiny house. As a tall person myself, I can really appreciate so many of the clever design touches in this home. How cool is that shower idea too! Such a clever idea. Thanks for watching! With love, Bryce & Rasa

  2. Birch plywood is likely the best plywood when it comes to reducing the amount of natural formaldehyde off-gassing. Softwoods should be avoided in these small spaces unless it’s reclaimed wood and has off-gassed for years.

  3. Sure do like this lady, and her home. Very nicely thought out, elegant, and she’s well-spoken. The engineering and features for only $70k (I know she did a lot of her own work but still) are amazing!

  4. Wow what a home and what a wonderful person this lady is, can I please buy the design plans. The engineering of the shower and bed is an absolute stroke of genius!! Amazing use of space. Love the artwork, will look this artist up
