Mother & Daughter Escape the City for a Tiny House in the Wilderness

If you’ve ever dreamed of escaping the city, buying land in the wilderness, moving into a beautiful tiny house, working less and creating a magical home for your family, then this episode is for you!

At its heart, this is a story about a mother who chose to change her life in order to spend more quality time with her daughter. Megan sold up her conventional home in the city and moved to the wilderness of Vermont together wth her daughter Sloane, where she was able to use the profits the sale of her home to purchase both a tiny house and a plot of land to park it on.

Megan and Sloane quickly realised that living in the wilderness isn’t easy and comes with its own challenges, but these are all experiences that they now get to share together.

We hope you enjoy the tour of this incredible tiny house and idyllic land.

  1. Megan and Sloane are creating such a beautiful life for themselves! Giving up the city life and moving into a tiny house in the wilderness isn’t easy, but wow, what an adventure they are having! We hope you enjoy this weeks episode! With Love, Bryce & Rasa

  2. House is cute but its not going to be enough when she grows up, and it will happen fast. No kids in area, no possibility to hang out with friends without mom worrying

  3. The view is very beautiful and serenity and for sure the air is clean knowing the water in the little drain is so clear. Please keep the forest intact so that the animals can also live happily.

  4. Как же я ненавижу то что сейчас делает президент России, россияне его не поддерживают. Россия оккупирована. Мы не хотим воевать. Мы хотим так же как вы строить домики и путешествовать

  5. Really nice home! As a European growing up in a city I still dont get why you want to live somewhere, where you cant do anything without driving a car. Then again, in the US this also goes for tue suburbs so I would really prefer this tiny house.

  6. This was beautiful, especially the connection between mother and daughter and making the most of their new life. Can she say more about how she found land that would allow a Tiny? Seems like that might have taken time and it sounds like she rushed to get to Virginia, then back to Vermont.
I was grateful you showed a Tiny up here in the NorthEast….Don’t know where there’s any zoning that allows for this….does one just ask the real estate broker? In any case, thanks for this lovely video and story!

  7. The woman seems very happy, but are there other children nearby? The girl needs to socialiise. From this video she spends all of her time just with her mum.

  8. I wonder when mommy have a boyfriend and wants to be alone with him or sloane in 5 years, wanting to go to a party, far as hell from the civilization or trying to be alone with her boyfriend and mommy 1 meter away listening with details.
The concept is beautiful I particularly love it, but privacy zero.

  9. Couldn’t figure out why this video felt weird then realised Bryce wasn’t there presenting!

Amazing house, amazing location and an amazing woman 👏

  10. Great home set up. Simple, functional & cozy. Love that a mom & daughter are braving the wilds for a better life & having an awesome time doing it. Beautiful bond. 💜
