Our New Tiny House! The Ultimate Off-Grid Digital Nomad Traveler

We built a brand new house! This tiny is designed as an off-grid model home perfect for digital nomads and modern life on the road. This project was made possible thanks to the amazing new Ecoflow Power Kits. You can find them in the US here: https://us.ecoflow.com/collections/power-kits?aff=192 and Australia here: https://au.ecoflow.com/collections/ecoflow-power-kits?aff=38

This new house will be our on the road as we New Zealand. Completely off the grid and solar powered, our home is designed to be on the move and function anywhere. It’s a true travel model house designed with digital nomads like us in mind!

Our house has been created to show off what the new Ecoflow Power Kits can do. In my opinion, these power kits are going to be a game changer for anyone looking for a simple but effective off-grid set-up for a tiny house, cabin, caravan or anything of the sort.

At only 5 x 2.5 meters, this single level tiny house is ultra compact but packs a heck of a punch! There is a tremendous amount of clever design ideas which have been crammed into this package which puts this tiny house in a league of its own.

This tiny house has been designed in collaboration with and built by the incredible team at Cocoon Tiny Homes, with cabinetry and interior fit-out by the ever talented Variant Spaces team.

We are so excited to now get it on the road and see what it can do!

  1. The design of the whole house is very beautiful. The bathroom design makes me think of a location on a spaceship, it’s really unique. Thanks for sharing with us.

  2. Like these modern touches…just one question ..how do you deal /empty the compost toilet while travelling around? Where would you put it? Can you invent something like a caravan & have sewage tank underneath & can easily empty at most towns? Apart from that, its awesome team!

  3. Be good to see this being used and tested to see what it’s true potential is. Looks amazing and is such a clever design! Love the light that are hidden in the daytime and then become a real feature once turned on!!
Think most of us need a fancy loo roll holder if we are being honest!! Ha ha!
Have fun with this new project!! ❤

  4. Come on!!!! This is The Bryce and Rasa’s tiny house! It hassss to be THE ULTIMATE ONE!
The reveal of each part of this house was no less than a thriller for viewers. I m amazedd! Congratulations 🎉

  5. You’re model is truly an inspiration. I started watching all movements (tiny house, van life, schoolies, even car life) because of you. Thank you for sharing your life and experiences. 😃

  6. This house is the full deal. It has everything for two people to live in comfortably and travel. So far the best travel house I have seen. Well done Bryce

  7. It’s the same layout as my tiny house, except mine is only 4.2m long and built on faction of your budget… absolutely love it and can’t wait to see you guys living in it ❤🎉

  8. My sis is studying to become an architect. Thank you, Bryce and team, for being such an inspiration. Also, your zeal is infectious. 🙂

  9. This is one of the most smart and amazing tiny houses we ever seen, it’s very inspiring for us as we are planing to build one ourselves soon, keep up with the good work inspiring all of us in the tiny house movement xxx

  10. Bryce, a resting place for ur fone is brilliant!! So often I go into public restrooms n dobt know where to put mine. Sometimes I put it just outside the cubicle but always worry that by the time I get out it will be missing.

  11. Love the experimental approach. Still a few things feel awkward.

The slits for the rising lounge seem to be open. What if you spill something in there? The mechanism seems smart, but not from a “how do you clean it” point of view.
    Also: No power no bed?

The magnets for the table must be really strong. What if you drop an SD-Card with some precious footage there?
