Russian Tiny House built w/FREE pallet wood (off grid homesteading)

This tiny house, or weekend off grid cabin, has very little to it budget-wise, aside from the cedar shingles. Beyond the initial joist lumber, this project almost required no as it was built with a large number of free pallets. It was built from a set of plans based on the age-old Sami Huts- used Russia and Eastern Europe for ages (most often by reindeer herders). This particular cabin has solar powered lights, a wood stove, and even a bed area made from leftover flooring. You’re sure to get some ideas from this one- especially all the pallet wood budget builders and dreamers out there. Can a cabin be built with little more than free forklift pallet wood?

  1. Wow!! How cool!! Love this!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  2. I see ….?….a couple small hinged windows that lift up and prop open….in case of a nice warm or muggy day…but not identifiable from the outside you know. Sneak-a-peak windows with simple latch hooks to lock.?
And other than that it’s pretty much perfect! It’s actually beautiful on the outside! Thanks for sharing.

  3. Awesome video, loved the beehives and the hut you built. Love the good vibes.
Go to GoFundMe and search for “Charitable Miracle Farm” or search for the facebook group with the same name if you want to help me solve the world hunger problem, fight against the extiction of bees by disbursing beehives into the wilderness, and plant hundreds of thousands of fruit trees at schools, shelters, public places and the wilderness!

  4. Looks cool but it’s probably very hot in the summer and not much room by putting the door so inside like he did. I would have put an A frame extension outside for the door entrance to conserve space instead of going inside. Peace & remember, No Fear!
