  1. Would you build & move into a 400 Square Foot backyard cottage and rent out your “big house” if it meant lowering (or eliminating) your mortgage payments and increasing your property value by a few hundred thousand dollars?

    • Yes definitely, my dream is to have a tiny house of sorts in my backyard in Florida, and help my children and grandchildren get into a home of their own, by letting them stay in the bigger house with more maintenance than I can handle.

  2. These are the type of tiny home videos that really interest me. I just don’t ever want to live without a sewer line. Love the series

  3. My hubby and I are finally living out our dream and building a 426 sq ft tiny home in our backyard! We will also be renting out house which is a 3/2. We’re pumped .. end goal is to live minimally and attain financial freedom 😊🙌🏽

  4. One woman tells another: “Don’t marry a man that can fix/make anything!” The other one replied, “Why not?” Her friends reply was, “ Because you will never have anything new. He will fix or make everything!” Jokes aside, I love how he made everything from scratch. Handles from spoons and forks to lights turning on when walking in. And the best advice to start building yourself. Awesome video. Thanks.

  5. to me 400 or 500 square feet is really livable. smaller can be a bit too tight. Thanks for showing this, wished you would feature more 400 to 500 square feet living situations.

  6. Expensive living; unaffordable house: Read: Democrat run city. I am so glad I bought and paid for my home before they ruined my home town.
