Deek’s mini desert glamping cabin WITH 1/2 of land- Deming, NM- $9500.

In this clip, Derek “Deek” Diedricksen talks to Jeremy Killian of Tiny Innovations, a building/design company based out of Oregon (while they were at the in Arlington, TX).

Dual lofts, a spacious kitchen, a gorgeous bathroom, and many other high-end touches make this place stand a notch above many other builders in the game.

You’ll love this one!

  1. We all have our own opinions, just not my cup of tea. I would much rather have the storage in the stairs. I’m more of a rustic gal. But I must say I do like the variety for everyone to see.

  2. I think this would have been better if we stopped seeing that guy talk and more pictures/images of the unit. He spoke of glass and reflections, but this video displayed none.

  3. Looks good, but those vinyl windows look really cheap compared to everything else. Also in a small space, the ratio of frame to glass for vinyl makes to window effectively smaller.

  4. OMG! I just LOVE this “Modern European” style. So beautiful! You guys did a great job on the design features and the elegant clean lines. The textures are gorgeous as well!

  5. nice plan, great home, looks amazing and it cost a fortune BTW. Seems like the tiny house idea is being exploited. the whole point of tiny homes and tiny living is to live debt free, to be affordable and live on minimal means. It’s more of an accessory for the middle class and richer. just like buying a very overpriced chihuahua and flaunting it.

  6. Wait, why don’t you want knots in the wood? He does know knots are the strongest part of the wood, right? I like the look of a knot stained but maybe that’s only me, wouldn’t be the first time I was just being “weird”.

  7. Not putting myself in a box is a big part of my house design that I e been doodling on for the past couple of years.

  8. It’s so cold he’s wearing a jacket & gloves, yet his pants have more holes than a ton of Swiss cheese. Hard to take this guy seriously. Do you want to be trendy or would you rather be a respected professional?
Other than my petty observation, it is a nice house.
