  1. The young man seems like a very nice and humble guy. I am sure these life struggles have taught him humility and it will go a long way in teaching him to care for others, especially in the field of medicine. Best of luck and best wishes. I am sure you will make a wonderful doctor and an even better human being.

  2. In the 1970s/80s TV series “Trapper John, M.D.”, the young doctor known as Gonzo resides in his motor home (dubbed “The Titanic”) in the hospital parking lot. I always thought that was so cool!

  3. Nice! I hope he gets to make a significant impact in the medical field. One day, all this will be nothing but a fond memory and a cool story for his grandchildren.

  4. What a nice and talented young man. He will go far in life. Van life is a life style, some choose it for freedom, and some choose it for economic reasons. I believe professionalism has nothing to do with what dwelling one lives in or the vehicle one drives, professionalism is how one treats people and the dedication one shows for the chosen profession, whatever that might be. If in the future, after he become a physician, if he still enjoys living in the van, i don`t see why he should not live in one. He would still be that wonderful doctor, wherever he choose to live. He obviously is well loved by his classmates, as well as his professors. He is a very impressive young man. All my best for a wonderful future.

  5. What an amazing young man. Adventurous, innovative, hard working and humble. I wish you all the very best in life Ethan.

  6. I dont have kids, nor do I want them but if i did I’d wish they would turn out as amazing as he is. Well done to him. My little sister is in med school as well❤

  7. initiative, intelligence and resilience can go a long way… any health authority ought to treasure these qualities

  8. What makes something “professional “ is proficiency. You fit the bill. You are not only managing medical school, but you offer ease, comfort, and consideration to your classmates. Considering the needs of others is what doctors should do.
