  1. Download June’s Journey for FREE: https://cherrypick.gg/TinyHouseExpedition 🕵‍♀Enjoy a tour of our DIY tiny home! We built it in 2014 w/lots of recycled materials. Then we lived nomadically across the US–enjoyed new experiences, participated in many events & created the Living Tiny Legally docu-series. We are very fortunate to now have our tiny homestead, where we’re renovating our A-frame cabin (tour coming soon!). We plan to rent out our THOW long-term & create a 2nd THOW parking spot. Thanks for being a part of our journey!

  2. You guys are the 1st videos that I fell in love with tiny house. I love your videos and Christian wacky sense of humor. Keep your videos coming.

  3. I like that it’s woods themed but the bathroom is aquatic life. Anyone else notice the crochet jellyfish hanging in the window? So cute. I’m wondering if the shower is big enough that one could bend at the waist and lean forward because that’s how I rinse my hair and put in products before putting in a towel. (It’s a long curly hair thing.)

    • Good catch! I love that jellyfish—crocheted by a friend. Happy to share there’s definitely room to bend over fully in the shower. I always do that to comb out my long wavy hair to get excess water out 😃

    • Have you ever built a tiny house? Depending on experience levels timelines can vary very much. We never built a house, let alone one on wheels that comes with special considerations. Sometimes we spent a whole day doing something and then have to undo it because it’s not right. Sometimes we got stuck and add to research specific techniques, like how to install a metal roof. Using recycled materials is extra labor intensive too—a lot of processing and prep work before you can actually apply your build. Based on conversations with hundreds of other inexperienced DIYers, 9 months is on the “quick” side 😅

  4. I LOVED hearing this story, today! It was sweet and interesting and colorful. And it’s really cool that yall have so many “moments ” you shared that are so meaningful, each in their own way.

  5. I’ve followed you for quite awhile now as I so enjoy your wonderful videos. It was great to watch this about your journey. So happy you posted your story! Always a pleasure to watch…& dream of living in a tiny house😊

  6. Hey guys! 🙋🏻‍♀️ It’s me, Gen with a G, one of your OG subs from Toronto! I always love watching your videos. Out of all the tiny house channels out there (and I watch a lot of them!), I’ve learned the most from yours. This one particular video though, gave me a particularly deep sense of pride and joy watching an encapsulation of your past decade. You’ve literally come a looooong way! 😂 and I’m so grateful you’ve shared your incredible journey with us. 🥰

    • Gen, you are such a sweetheart! 💗 We appreciate your love and support over the years. And wow—what a wonderful compliment about learning so much from our channel. That’s a huge part of our passion for doing what do—empowering others to pursue a tiny home or simple lifestyle and just know that there are other worthwhile options out there. 💗

  7. WOW just WOW!!!!!! I can’t explain the feeling I got from watching your beautiful tiny house!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! Can we see the A-frame house one day?

  8. Neat circle to see Zac as your inspiration. I sure see his experienced ideas on the show he is doing with his friend John. Your home is warm and wonderful. I love seeing you guys and your finds.
